問２ 発熱などの症状があるため自主的に会社を休もうと考えています。休業手当は支払われますか。

会社を休んでいただくよう呼びかけをさせていただいているところですが、新型コロナウイルスかどうか分からない時点で、発熱などの症状があるため労働者が自主的に休まれる場合は、休業手当の支払いの対象とはなりません。この場合には、事業場に任意で設けられる有給の病気休暇制度があれば、事業場の就業規則などの規定を確認いただき、これを活用することなどが考えられます。
