その後、連絡を取り合って日時や場所を決めたが、互いの顔を知らなかったことや、相手が本当に一人で来るのか不安だったことから、２人とも友人を連れて“決闘の地”へ。結局、十数人が集まった。その場で「凶器は使わない」「顔面を殴るのはあり」「ギブアップするまでやる」「被害届は出さない」などのルールを決め、送検された２人以外はケンカの行方を見守っていたという。
結局、目撃者が交番に知らせて署員が駆けつけたため、ケンカは短時間で終了し、勝負はつかなかった。荒川区の生徒が顔面打撲で全治５日間、足立区の生徒が頭部打撲で全治７日の軽傷を負った。
この子供さんは前途多難確定でしょうね。
